ZONAL

Connect Cursor

Cursor can read your WHOOP data through ZONAL as an MCP server. You add one entry to Cursor's mcp.json and sign in with WHOOP.

Steps

  1. In ZONAL, tap the + button, then More, then Integrations, then Cursor.
  2. Tap Copy connector link.
  3. In Cursor, open the MCP settings and choose to add a custom MCP server. This opens mcp.json.
  4. Add ZONAL inside mcpServers, then save: "zonal": { "url": "https://band.getzonal.com/mcp" }
  5. Cursor shows that ZONAL needs a sign-in. Start it, sign in with WHOOP, then tap Allow.

Tap Open Cursor's MCP guide on ZONAL's Cursor page if you need Cursor's own instructions.

Disconnect

  1. In ZONAL, open Integrations, then Cursor, and tap Disconnect. Tap again to confirm. Cursor loses access right away.
  2. In Cursor, delete the zonal entry from mcp.json, so it stops showing up in Cursor.

Questions

Where does it work?

In the Cursor desktop app and in Cursor's web agents.

Where does my data go when I ask Cursor?

It's sent to Anysphere (the company behind Cursor) and to the AI model you choose in Cursor, and handled under their terms and privacy policies, not ZONAL's.

The sign-in page shows a warning about this computer. Is that normal?

Yes, when Cursor signs in through your own computer. Only tap Allow if you started connecting from Cursor on this computer.
