Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT can read your WHOOP data through ZONAL once you add it as a plugin. It signs in with your WHOOP account and only sees your data.

Steps

  1. In ZONAL, tap the + button, then More, then Integrations, then ChatGPT.
  2. Tap Copy connector link. The link is https://band.getzonal.com/mcp.
  3. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, tap the + button, then Add custom MCP server.
  4. Give it a name, like ZONAL, and paste the link as the server URL. Choose OAuth for sign-in.
  5. Read the warning, tap I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
  6. Sign in with WHOOP, then tap Allow on the Connect ChatGPT to your WHOOP data page.

Back in ZONAL, ChatGPT shows under Connected on the Integrations page.

Don't see Add custom MCP server? Adding your own server depends on your ChatGPT plan and settings. If the option isn't there, your plan or workspace doesn't allow it yet.

Disconnect

  1. In ZONAL, open Integrations, then ChatGPT, and tap Disconnect. Tap again to confirm. ChatGPT loses access right away.
  2. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, open the ZONAL plugin and remove it, so it stops showing up in your chats.

Questions

Is it the same link as for Claude?

Yes. Every AI app uses the same connector link. ZONAL tells them apart when you sign in.

Does OpenAI keep my data?

When you ask ChatGPT about your data, it's sent to OpenAI and handled under OpenAI's terms and privacy policy, not ZONAL's. ZONAL never uses your data to train AI.

Can I connect ChatGPT and Claude at the same time?

Yes. Each one shows on the Integrations page, and disconnecting one leaves the others connected.
